The rooms in this hotel are in need of a spruce up. Our door had large gaps letting the heat in and with the lovely high ceilings this meant the air-con struggled. Could probably do with a fan too, as Hue does get mighty hot.
Don't miss the royal tombs, they really are quite impressive.

The room was large and had great air-conditioning. The views of the city and surrounds were spectacular, especially on sunset. Buffet breakfast in the morning was okay, but lacked variety. The staff were very friendly and spoke great English. The pool area is pleasant but was initially empty - thankfully the water was filled up on our second day. It's only a short walk to all the nice restaurants and river front too. For the price, it really is quite a good place to stay!

Tuy bãi đỗ xe quá nhỏ, đường vào chật; nhưng thái độ đón tiếp niềm nỡ, ân cần. Phòng ốc sạch sẽ. Thuận tiện cho khách lưu trú đi công tác tại thành phố Huế.

Classy hotel at an affordable price. impressive entrance and hotel lobby, courteous and friendly service. included breakfast is outstanding, best of our trip. short walk to hung vuong, main commercial street in hue, as well as short walk in opposite direction to popular evening restaurant quarter with many high quality yet affordable restaurants to choose from - e.g. la carambole, always lively, recommended by several travel guides. room service is a great option at this hotel if you are feeling under the weather and do not want to venture out for dinner.
